IMHRA
Privacy
The Infant Mental Health Research Alliance (IMHRA) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how it is handled.
Sharing a question with IMHRA
You can share a question or response anonymously. You only need to provide your name and email address if you agree that IMHRA may contact you about your response.
The form may collect:
- the question, experience or knowledge gap you share;
- the perspective or role you are responding from;
- your responses to relevant follow-up questions;
- your organisation or location, if you choose to provide them;
- your name and email address, if you agree to follow-up; and
- basic information about where the response came from, such as the form source and page version.
Please avoid including personal or sensitive information about another identifiable person in your response.
How we use responses
IMHRA uses responses to:
- identify recurring questions and knowledge gaps;
- understand where families, practitioners, organisations, researchers and decision-makers need support;
- identify opportunities for evidence, guidance, connection or collaboration; and
- shape IMHRA’s priorities, resources and future work.
We will not publish your name or quote your words without asking your permission. We do not use contact details to subscribe people to the newsletter unless they separately choose to join it.
Storage and access
Responses are collected through Tally and stored in Notion. Access to raw responses is limited to authorised members of the IMHRA team who need the information for this work.
Tally and Notion are third-party services and may process or store information outside Australia. You can read their privacy policies here:
Retention
Raw responses and associated personal information are retained for six months. After six months, identifiable information will be securely deleted or removed.
IMHRA may retain de-identified or aggregated themes, such as recurring questions and knowledge gaps, for research planning, evaluation and development of the Knowledge Hub. These retained themes should not identify individual respondents.
Newsletter
The newsletter signup is separate from the question form. If someone subscribes, their email address is stored in a Google Sheet managed by IMHRA, and used to send updates about IMHRA and the Knowledge Hub. Google provides the sheet and its web-app tools, and its privacy policy applies to that service.
Agreeing to follow up about a form response does not subscribe someone to the newsletter. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time.
Access, correction and withdrawal
To ask what personal information IMHRA holds about you, request a correction, or ask for information connected with your response to be withdrawn or deleted, email hello@imhra.com.au.
IMHRA may need enough information to identify the relevant submission. If a response was submitted anonymously and cannot be linked to the person making the request, it may not be possible to locate it.
